It's a tricky question for most Isles fans. Some rather lose in the first round again and have Cappy fired.

Was Ryan the kids that posted a picture of him playing Mite hockey in Islander's Gear? I feel like he was the one who had a Dad that was big Isles fan.

Edit: found it.. yes he was. Can you imagine how fired up his Dad and he will be when He hits the ice in Isles jersey for first time in NHL?

Ryan's a real good kid. Had a chance to interview him a month ago. He's ready for this.

I am growing old and gray waiting to see this damn team win a playoff round. I'll take Cappy returning and Tyler Kennedy re-signed to a 3 year deal, if they could just get out of the first goddamn round and make it into May.

The reason I won't be overly excited if/when it happens is because I am not the slightest bit confident that Doug Weight won't be named the "interim" head coach and eventually just keep the job until he gets fired 8 years later.

If Garth is back you have to think Doug might just get the job unless the new owners demand a proven coach.

Snow's job could be in jeopardy if they fail to win a round

Well that's why Snow has to get fired also. If he gets canned which by all accounts he should just for keeping this jackarse on then you don't have to worry about Weight getting the job. I'm guessing Feaster will clean house and I'm completely OK with that

As far as Snow is concerned....he has a week left. If he does nothing or something minor, and we get knocked out in the first round or God forbid, miss the playoffs, see ya. Same for Fred Flintstone.....He went for it his first season as GM at the deadline with Cryin Ryan Smyth, and that's been it.

I can understand not giving up the farm for a rental, but please something more than a Tyler Kennedy forward. I'm not expecting much though.

Hope Pullock gets his chance. There's no question about his skating, offensive talent and booming shot, just hope to see his defensive zone play and positioning without the puck on par with the rest of his game and he shouldn't see the AHL again.

Staples just responded to someone on twitter saying the reason Isles are so secretive about Pelech is because at first they thought the injury could be career ending but they "likely" have it under contrl now.

Also said good news in 1-2weeks about it
